    Standing in front of that cathedral, my destination for so many days, was overwhelming and moving. To think of how many people over the ages have stood in that very spot, shedding the same tears of gratitude, made me feel a part of something so much larger than my one journey. It made me feel a part of a community of people who are searching — for hope, for peace, for love, for challenge — and seeking a better life in the process. My heart isn’t big enough to contain it and tears were shed.

    The building was designed to awe and awe it did. I look tiny in comparison. I *am* tiny, but I am still one precious life and I am eager to live fully what I gained from this incredible pilgrimage.
